Sony Ericsson K810i - I'm quite happy about it :) (actually the post started out from the thought that life should really be about more than getting a new mobile phone...)

There is more than that. Although it would be great if we could sit silently seeking God and his guidance all the time - alone or together with good friends - he has placed us in this world to be something for others. To show, very practically, his love for all other people.

He wants us to show the world who he is - and this means that we need to go out into the world, although we know that we are not able to be perfect. We need to trust that he loves us no matter if we sometimes (maybe I should write often instead) do things that we know we shouldn't do. And with trusting God I mean that we need to continue to try. It is not a solution to stay home and isolate ourselves because we are afraid of failing.

I don't disagree with you! And I know that you wrote more than the last part, which is what I've commented. I guess I'm just writing the thoughts that popped up in my head following the thoughts your post gave me :) It shouldn't be a contradiction to your post...
